Researchers have stated that negative emotions leave a stronger mark than positive ones. Positive stuff will usually have less of an influence on a person’s emotions than something negative. Believe it or not, this is a “gift” from our prehistoric ancestors—negativity helped them stay cautious of their environments and survive natural threats!
